Parade Magazine recently named the College of Charleston one of the best small public colleges in the nation.  In the August issue, the magazine says CofC is “Very hot right now for good reason.  Beautiful and in a chic setting, it offers good academics and is easier to get into than it ought to be.”  The magazine also discusses the history of the campus, which is located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district.  Charleston is home to many festivals, allowing students studying historic preservation and arts management to utilize the city’s living laboratory at their disposal.  The College of Charleston was the only South Carolina school to make Parade’s list and is particularly significant because it is based on unbiased advice about the quality, affordability, and accessibility of higher education institutions.  Cynthia Lowenthal, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, says the school is extremely honored and states, “Our students, studying under the expert guidance of a world-class faculty, become young scholars who conduct original research or who develop their commitment to public service.” Charleston is all around an amazing place to live, go to school, or raise a family.  The area schools are highly esteemed and provide students with the opportunity for unlimited growth and potential.  If you are looking to move to Charleston, SC, make sure to give the Williams Team a call at (843) 345-6605.
